In my last blog post I said: "I haven't been blogging much lately because I've been really busy with my last few weeks of study. Come Friday though, I'll be freeeee! I'll also be ready to start on my nanowrimo rebel mission... to be revealed."

I've been eating salad almost every day, talk about healthy! (umm.. yes, that is fried sausage on top.)
Well, here I am, two weeks later and you are none the wiser. So let me start off by explaining my "mission". November is national novel writing month, but I'm bending the rules a bit and writing a cookbook instead. Actually, I should say "intending to write" because I've been so lazy that I haven't started yet. *gulp*

I was studying SO hard during October and the first week of November that I just couldn't bring myself to sit at my computer and do anything, be that reading blogs, emails, news, blogging or typing out recipes for my cookbook. The sunshine beckoned me, so I sat outside, closed my eyes and reveled in the fact that I didn't have to do anything.
Have you ever had moments like that? Moments when you just sit there for hours doing absolutely nothing at all? It's one of the nicest things to do on a sunny day, with your feet in a bucket of cold water. It's also probably the reason for my sun-burnt nose.

There are a cute bunch of ducklings that hang around our house, they think we are food machines so follow us around whenever we step outside! So cute, but they do remind me a bit of compies.
Now for the exciting news! Tomorrow is the gluten free food and allergy show! It's the second one held in my city and I'm so excited about going, last year's one was awesome!
Check out the website here.

It's also flower season! Whenever we can see roses on our table it is a signal that Christmas is coming, the weather is heating up and you probably need to buy some new jandals. Yay!

I know exactly what you mean when you say you want to do nothing for hours and hours. It's bad when I'm tempted to do that instead of homework!

So exciting, Theresa! I've been wanting to write a cookbook some day myself. Good luck to you!
