Because I've been ridiculously busy and reasonably sick lately, here is a quick post of what I've been up to recently, before we move on to greater things.

For those of you in up in the northern parts of this world this may sound weird, but it snowed here recently.

It was really cold too and no doubt contributed to the nasty head cold that I suffered afterwards.

But it was so pretty!

I got to try out my new camera and discovered that it's a pretty hardy wee-thing when it was hit by a snowball. Never play cricket with my youngest sister.


We watched lots of movies starring Frank Sinatra and ate lots and lots of chocolate while we waited for our fingers to thaw. Snow is cold, remember?


And then my brother went and put his face in it.

Don't worry, we made the most of this opportunity by making him do it several times "because we want to take a picture!" *snigger* - I'm such a great sister.
